WARRIORS SUBMIT HEINEKEN CUP SQUAD

Glasgow Warriors have submitted the squad for the Heineken Cup. The inclusion of Chris Cusiter, Rory Lamont, Rob Harley and Duncan Weir from the current injured players list are all good signs that the boys will be back and match fit before long.

This still leaves 13 unselected players (some due to injury). 

Townsend has stated:

“It’s a sign of the level of strength in depth we have that 13 players who will have a massive role to play for us across the season aren’t included in this squad.

“The Heineken Cup is a great competition and we’ll be going all out to hit the ground running in our pool when the time comes. For now, though, the focus is firmly on continuing our positive form in the RaboDirect PRO12 in our next two games against Zebre and Cardiff Blues.”
