And the winner is........

It was a close run competition and filled with drama, but now we have a name for the Supporters of Glasgow Warriors voted for by Glasgow Warriors Supporters.

Warriors Clan, The XVI Warrior and Warriors Assemble duked it our for first place, however there can be only one!

It's here!! After much deliberation we have narrowed it down to 5. Some suggestions came several times however we chose the first one received (it was down to time sent on some of them!)

There has been some tweaking to keep the names in brand, however credit has gone to the source idea.

The Process


 If duplicate suggestions are made, it will work on a first suggested basis so time and date is being taken into account. Once all the entries are gathered the committee along with a Glasgow Warriors representative will sit down and draw up the short list. The short list will then be posted on the blog and votes will be taken via a poll. The poll will be run on an honesty basis: 1 vote per person. We appreciate it will be difficult to police this so we would ask for honesty in the voting process and that only one vote is cast per supporter.

The countdown has begun to the big reveal of the new name for the Glasgow Warriors supporters group!

We have aims and a charter and we hope to not only run FANTASTIC competitions but also host exclusive events for members! Details on membership and how to sign up will be released  after  we have our name!

The response has been excellent and we hope that we can really make a supporters group to be proud of!
